The Rabbitohs have secured a tight 27-18 win over the Sharks, with young gun halfback Lachlan Ilias stealing the show in a “statement victory” according to Fox League’s Cooper Cronk.
The 22-year-old had a hand in everything, combining with Campbell Graham and Keaon Koloamatangi in lethal display of attack.
“Lachlan Ilias, it is his second season but it feels like tonight a star is born,” Fox League’s Dan Ginnane said.
