The Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC) has congratulated Gold Coast Titans coach Des Hasler ahead of his 500th match as an NRL coach this weekend.
Hasler will become just the sixth coach to achieve the milestone when the Titans take on the New Zealand Warriors in a Round 21 clash at Go Media Stadium in Auckland on Saturday.
Hasler joins Wayne Bennett (956* matches coached), Tim Sheens (693), Brian Smith (601), Craig Bellamy (594*) and Ricky Stuart (534*) as the only coaches in Premiership history to reach 500 games.
