
Kiwis and Kiwi Ferns achieved victory in thrilling Pacific Championships matches in Auckland.
The Kiwis and Kiwi Ferns stood tall on home soil in Auckland on Sunday as the 2025 Pacific Championships dished up two epic contests.
First up at Go Media Stadium we had Ricky Henry's powerhouse Kiwi Ferns squad beginning their quest to go one better than last year when they went down to the Jillaroos in the Pacific Cup final.
Standing in their way was a Fetu Samoa side coached by Jamie Soward who have been promoted to the Pacific Cup in 2025 after winning last year's Bowl tournament.
Fetu Samoa took control of the game to lead 20-0 at the break before the class of the Kiwi Ferns shone through and a runaway try to Mele Hufanga got them home 22-20 in a classic contest.
