State of Origin has returned with a bang for 2025 as the game's showpiece pitted defending champions Queensland against arch-rivals the Blues at Suncorp Stadium for the series opener.
After losing Game One last year the Maroons hit back to win Game Two in a thriller and then took the decider convincingly in Townsville to take the honours in the first ever three-game women's Origin series.
