Blues Women make history, winning NSW Champions of Sport Team of the Year at 2025 Sports Awards.
The Westpac NSW Blues Women have become the first State of Origin team in history to be crowned the NSW Champions of Sport Team of the Year at the 2025 NSW Sports Awards held at The Star Event Centre in Sydney last night.
The event also included the induction of True Blue Ricky Stuart AM into the NSW Hall of Champions in what was a memorable evening for the NSW Rugby League.
NSW Blues Women's coach John Strange and veteran forward Kezie Apps accepted the honour, after a 2025 series where the Blues reclaimed the Ampol State of Origin Shield 2-1 after wins at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane and Allianz Stadium in Sydney.
