    The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders will look to make it two in a row this Friday night, when they face the Melbourne Storm at GIO Stadium, Canberra.

    With the Raiders currently sitting 15th and the Storm sitting 13th on the ladder, both sides will be looking to gain some points to make their way up the ladder.

    Off the back of a thrilling win against the Rabbitohs in Perth, the Raiders will be looking to keep their winning momentum going in front of a home crowd.

    Ricky Stuart has made a couple of changes to his squad, with Matt Timoko getting the call back into first grade after a stint in NSW Cup, Sebastian Kris has been shifted onto the wing, and Savelio Tamale has been named in the reserves.

    NSW Cup: Round Six Wrap

    The Raiders lost 40-24 to the Bears; Daine Laurie scored a hat trick in defeat.

    The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders fell 40-24 to the Bears at North Sydney Oval in the NSW Cup on Sunday afternoon.

    The Bears jumped out to an early lead, scoring three tries in the opening 15 minutes to hold a comfortable 16-nil advantage.

    Canberra answered with a pair of tries of their own through forward Jake Clydsdale and Daine Laurie.

    North Sydney did their damage either side of halftime, jumping out to an important 34-10 lead with just over 20 minutes to go.

    Raiders fullback Daine Laurie crossed for two more tries to grab his first hattrick in green.

    Although it wasn't enough as the Bears ran in a late try through prop Phillip Makatoa to bring up 40 points at home.

    Raiders claim tight victory over Souths in Perth

    The Raiders ended their losing streak, defeating the Rabbitohs 36-34 at Optus Stadium.

    The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders have snapped a losing streak to claim a 36-34 victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Optus Stadium in Perth.

    The Raiders were looking to redeem their slower start to their season with a win off the back of their loss against Newcastle last week, while the Rabbitohs were looking to continue their winning momentum on the West Coast.

    Both sides' opening sets looked strong, with both forward packs gaining momentum.

    Raiders second-rower Hudson Young claimed the first points of the match for the Raiders off the back of a grubber from hooker Tom Starling. The try was successfully converted to put Canberra in front 6-0.
