Canberra Raiders Team Lists

The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders have named their round 18 team to take on the St George-Illawarra Dragons at GIO Stadium Canberra on Saturday afternoon.  

With Hudson Young and Josh Papalii on Origin duty, Simi Sasagi will start the match in the second row for the second consecutive week, Corey Horsburgh will shift into the front row, and Morgan Smithies to lock.  

Trey Mooney returns to the 17 on the bench this week.

The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders have named their side for the Round 17 match against the Newcastle Knights on Friday night at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Hudson Young will not play against the Knights, with the decision made to rest him for this fixture. Young has been managing an ongoing groin issue, and it has been decided that it's best to manage his workload during what has been a demanding period for him with both club football and State of Origin commitments.

Simi Sasagi has been named to start in place of Young, with Noah Martin coming onto the bench for his second NRL match.

Corey Horsburgh will play his 100th match for the club.

The Toyota Forklifts Canberra Raiders have named their team for the round 16 match against the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium on Friday night.

Jed Stuart is set to become Raider #404 after he was named to make his NRL debut on the wing for the club. He replaces Savelio Tamale, who will miss an extended period with a knee injury sustained against South Sydney in round 14.

Both Hudson Young and Corey Horsburgh have been named to play for the Raiders, with both players set to join the squad following State of Origin II in Perth on Wednesday. 

Sebastian Kris will play his 100th NRL/Raiders match this week.
