Josh Papalii's court hearing delayed as lawyers cite police misuse of Signal for case discussions.
Accused Canberra Raiders veteran Josh Papalii has had his criminal court hearing pushed back, after his lawyers claimed new information had come to light about police allegedly using the encrypted messaging app Signal to discuss his case.
The NRL player is accused of throwing glasses at staff and threatening police at the Raiders Club in Gungahlin in September 2024.
Police also say he was verbally aggressive towards them and tried to intimidate the officers after being told to leave.
