The Canterbury Bulldogs are set to secure the services of star centre Bronson Xerri with a new contract extension, while also making the tough decision not to pursue prop Terrell May for another deal.

Xerri, who made a strong comeback to the game in 2024 after serving a drugs ban, quickly proved himself to be a key player in Cameron Ciraldo's squad.

The 24-year-old's stellar form earned him a spot in the starting lineup, and he shone in the blue and white jersey throughout the season, appearing in 19 games.
