Rugby league officials have been slammed for failing to finalise the 2023 NRL salary cap as its left a host of players in limbo.
The NRL, clubs and Rugby League Players Association (RLPA) have been negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement since February.
The CBA was supposed to be settled months ago but it now looks like the drawn-out saga will drag into the new year.
