Coby Black will leave Brisbane Broncos for Canberra Raiders, pursuing NRL goals in 2027.
Coby Black, a teenage halfback, has taken the Brisbane Broncos by surprise by announcing his plans to leave the club at the end of next season in pursuit of his NRL goals with the Canberra Raiders, as reported by News Corp.
The 19-year-old has been viewed as a potential successor to Adam Reynolds at Red Hill and is set to join Ricky Stuart's Raiders beginning in 2027, following his free agency status becoming official on November 1.
This decision comes as Canberra aims to bolster its halfback options after losing Jamal Fogarty to Manly.
