Corey Horsburgh’s fourth minute sin bin cost the Raiders against the Sharks

Braydon Trindall and Nicho Hynes led Cronulla to a 34-22 win against Canberra, ending their losing streak.

The Australian

Braydon Trindall and Nicho Hynes have stopped the rot and returned Cronulla to winning ways with a gutsy 34-22 victory in Canberra on Sunday afternoon.

The Sharks went to the capital following heavy losses to the Dolphins and Panthers but they rediscovered their attacking flair to outlast the Raiders.

It means the reigning minor premiers, Canberra, are 1-3 after four rounds with Ricky Stuart's men languishing in 15th spot on the ladder.

It was entertaining footy from the opening whistle and there was early drama when Canberra lock Corey Horsburgh was binned inside four minutes.

Hynes took a quick tap in his own half and Horsburgh took the bait, drilling the Cronulla No. 7 while still inside the 10 metres in a coach-killing moment.
