Raiders forward Elliott Whitehead has revealed his international career could be over after England were bundled out of the World Cup by Samoa in a 27-26 semi-finals loss.
The 33-year-old played 177 games in the Super League before moving to the NRL in 2016 to join Ricky Stuart’s Canberra side.
Whitehead’s Raiders contract expires at the end of the 2024 season and he is yet to make a call on his NRL future, but his decision regarding the Test arena has clearly weighed on his mind after appearing 22 times for his beloved England.
