A betting plunge on Monday saw the Panthers go from $1.60 favourites to $2.30 outsiders which suggested mass changes were incoming.
Betting was eventually suspended with the four-time premiers now out to $7.25 with some bookmakers in a sign they've completely given up on finishing inside the top four which was already unlikely after consecutive golden point losses.
