Raiders star Jack Wighton was reportedly “peeved” after being snubbed by NSW coach Brad Fittler for the 2023 State of Origin series decider.
It was confirmed on Monday Wighton has retired from all forms of representative football at a time when his future remains uncertain heading into the 2024 season without a contract.
The 30-year-old has played 10 games for the Blues across the halves, centres, and off the bench, making him an invaluable member of the NSW side.
