The NRL has today confirmed that the expanded 10-team NRL Telstra Women's Premiership will include home semi-finals for the first time in 2023.
Having previously scheduled semi-finals at neutral venues, the NRL will now allow for teams which finish the regular season in first and second place to play finals matches at their selected home grounds.
Under the six-team competition model in 2022 and 2021, both minor premiers lost their respective semi-final matches having played at a neutral interstate venue.
