Hudson Young and Morgan Smithies were two of many NRL players who had taken the opportunity to hit the town in Las Vegas before knuckling down for their season opener at Allegiant Stadium.

Players were allowed to do so, having been trusted as adults to behave, so they had not gone rogue.

Unlike their counterparts, the Canberra Raiders duo found trouble when a scuffle back at their hotel - Hilton Resorts World - blew up into a security incident that had them briefly evicted.

Here are the bizarre details of what happened, according to reports from Vegas.

Young and Smithies returned to their hotel having gone out drinking, on Thursday night local time; not long after arriving in Vegas.
