Corey Horsburgh surprised by enjoying meals without sauce after challenging NRL season in 2025.

Never did Corey Horsburgh think he'd be able to eat a meal without a side of sauce, but the Raiders forward is a new man in 2025.

There was only one way Horsburgh could describe the last NRL season after injuries, suspensions and an ugly, much-publicised fallout with Canberra coach Ricky Stuart.

"It was shitty - that's the easiest way to put it," he said. "I didn't come into the year in the best knick, I got some niggly injuries, and made some bad decisions."
