Canterbury Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo was surprised by the lack of follow-up after his hand injury at Canberra Stadium.

The Canberra Times

Canterbury Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo said he was surprised by the lack of contact from Canberra Stadium officials after his hand was sliced open during a game last week.

Ciraldo revealed on Friday officials had not spoken to him in the aftermath of the incident, which led to him needing six stitches after glass shattered as he tried to open the window in the visitor's coaching box.

The incident has prompted questions in the ACT Assembly about the venue's safety measures, and calls for a new stadium are growing louder.

The venue hosted the ACT Brumbies v NSW Waratahs on Friday night and the Raiders will return for a showdown with the Cronulla Sharks on Sunday.
