Huddersfield's Samoa test hooker Danny Levi has been released from his contract on compassionate grounds to enable him to return with his young family to Australia.
The 26-year-old looks set for a return to the NRL, reportedly agreeing to join the Canberra Raiders, having already played for the Knights, Sea Eagles and Broncos.
Zac Woolford and Tom Starling shared the No. 9 role this year and both will still be with the Green Machine next year, but Levi's potential arrival will give coach Ricky Stuart more options.
