Warriors coach Andrew Webster says he's "definitely confident" that halfback Shaun Johnson will be fit to return next week after the veteran playmaker was a late scratching for Saturday's 32-6 loss to the Panthers.
The Dally M favourite injured his calf at training during the week and was officially ruled out on Thursday, with the Warriors unable to conjure anything in attack without the man who leads the league for assists this season.
But the injury is said to be a minor one, with Johnson revealing he's "touch and go" for next week's game against either the Knights or Raiders.
