Melbourne Storm superstar Ryan Papenhuyzen has revealed “frustrating” complications in his bid to return from a long-term injury, saying he still can’t put a timeframe on his comeback.
The 24-year-old has endured a long recovery process since fracturing his knee cap in July last year, with initial hopes that he could have been back on the park by now.
Papenhuyzen
travelled to the United States to work with renowned recovery specialist Bill Knowles
earlier this year and recently returned to running on grass, raising hopes he could be back in the NRL soon.
