Jake Trbojevic will miss the season but plans to return next year after recovery.
Manly forward Jake Trbojevic has made peace with the decision to sit out the rest of the season but has revealed he will play on next year as he works his way back from his latest concussion.
Trbojevic suffered his third concussion this season when he was knocked out trying to tackle Canberra enforcer Josh Papalii a fortnight ago.
The Sea Eagles this week confirmed he would miss the remainder of the regular season and there had been speculation his career was in jeopardy given his recent history of head knocks.
However, Trbojevic made it clear he expects to make a full recovery and plans to return for the final year of his contract.
