Jordan McLean denied State of Origin debut for NSW Blues against Queensland Maroons

Jordan McLean has been robbed of the chance to make his State of Origin debut next Wednesday, with the NSW prop ruled out of the series-deciding match because of a hamstring injury.

McLean sustained the injury at a training session, with the Blues confirming this afternoon he would miss the clash with Queensland at Lang Park.

“My career has been full of ups and downs,” McLean said in a Blues statement.

“I’ve kind of gotten used to it but I thought there might be a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
