Canberra Raiders juniors faced mixed results: lost SG Ball Cup to Melbourne, but won Tarsha Gale Cup.
It was a weekend of mixed results for the Canberra Raiders junior representatives at Raiders Belconnen with a quadruple header against Melbourne.
SG Ball Cup
The Raiders just fell short against Melbourne in the SG Ball Cup 28 - 22.
Canberra came out strong scoring two tries to Tulsyn McCulloch and Kye Anderson, ensuring a 12 point lead at the break.
But Melbourne edged Canberra out through a second half dominance with second rower Isaiah Savea scoring a double.
The Raiders will turn their attention to Round five against Manly at 4 Pines Park.
