Kevin Walters has disputed claims from fellow Broncos great Gorden Tallis that Brisbane look stronger without Adam Reynolds, and insists the skipper should walk back into the starting side when he returns from a hamstring injury. Brisbane have been on fire in the absence of Reynolds, and look set to be without the skipper again for Sunday's NRL qualifying finals clash with Canberra, after Ben Hunt revealed that he would retain the No.7 jersey.
Reynolds came through a Saturday training session with Michael Maguire's squad and was having a final fitness test on Tuesday to prove his fitness. But it appears the veteran halfback has been ruled out after Hunt told SEN radio that he would retain the halfback role for the Raiders clash.
