Talks are ongoing, but it's looking positive for Coby Black to become a Canberra Raider a year earlier than expected.
Black has asked the Brisbane Broncos for a release from the final year of his contract with the reigning premiers, which would open the door for a shift to the Green Machine for the 2026 NRL season.
The 19-year-old has already signed with the Raiders on a two-year deal, with his first year in lime green set to be 2027.
