The NRL is investigating Penrith's response to Daine Laurie's alleged drug incident after a recent preliminary final loss.
The NRL is investigating Penrith's handling of an alleged Mad Monday incident involving former Panthers player Daine Laurie.
Laurie, who now plays for Canberra, had reportedly been due to face Penrith Local Court after police allegedly caught him with an illicit substance the morning after Penrith's preliminary final loss to Brisbane in September.
According to reports, police officers inspected a vehicle, where Laurie was the passenger and allegedly found 0.37 grams of cocaine.
The NRL is investigating whether Penrith should have reported the matter to the integrity unit.
