NRL Round 22: Dragons stun Raiders in shock 18-12 upset

The Dragons upset the Raiders 18-12, ending their losing streak in challenging conditions.

The Australian

The Dragons snapped a four-game losing streak with a stunning 18-12 upset over ladder leaders the Raiders in dreadful conditions in Wollongong on Saturday night.

Ricky Stuart's men are still within touching distance of the club's first minor premiership in 35 years but could lose top spot by the end of the round.

If the Bulldogs beat the Tigers by 17 points on Sunday they'll leapfrog Canberra and Melbourne into first on the ladder.

The Raiders were chasing a 10th straight win in a season for just the second time in club history, but a perfect night off the tee in howling winds from St George Illawarra halfback Kyle Flanagan proved the difference.
