The Canberra Raiders are considering walking away from discussions with young outside back Sione Finau after details of his visit to the capital were leaked to the Sydney media by his management company.
It left Raiders coach Ricky Stuart feeling sorry for Fainu, who he described as a "real nice young bloke".
Fainu toured Raiders HQ during the week - ahead of the Green Machine's clash against Newcastle at Canberra Stadium on Sunday - with his manager Michael Cincotta.
