Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has leapt to the defence of repeat offender Jordan Rapana who was man-of-the-match on Sunday but will face a nervous wait following another two ugly incidents.
The 34-year-old was lucky to escape the sin bin for sliding in with knees to try and stop a Bulldogs try and also used his knees later in the game while tackling Viliame Kikau.
Rapana copped a $3000 for a similar offence against the Storm last week, but Stuart isn't worried his fullback will be banned for a crunch clash against the Broncos next week.
