The Canberra Raiders look set to rule themselves out of the running for wantaway Sydney Roosters halfback Hugo Savala.
It seems Savala is unhappy after Daly Cherry-Evans joined the Bondi princes - on a one-year deal with the possibility of extending it to a second season - blocking the 23-year-old's path to the NRL.
But the Raiders are happy with their own young halfback, Ethan Sanders, and don't want to buy over the top of the 21-year-old.
