The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup side impressed at home this Saturday, defeating the Western Suburbs Magpies with a smashing final score of 50-12 at GIO Stadium Canberra.
Raiders second rower Mitchell Spencer was the first to make it over the line and score at the 14-minute mark, followed by a successful conversion by halfback Adam Cook.
20 minutes in a knock on from the Magpies after change over made way for the Raiders James Schiller to score his first try of the game. This was successfully converted by Cook, bringing the score to 12-0.
