The Raiders will negotiate with Josh Papali'i to extend his contract for another year.
The Canberra Raiders are set to open talks with Josh Papali'i's management to keep the club great in the capital for another year.
Up until now, the Raiders have just been chatting informally with Papali'i himself, but they're set to ramp up negotiations to re-sign the 325-game veteran for 2026.
It would not only extend Papali'i's time in Canberra to a 16th NRL season, but it would open the door for young prop Trey Mooney to look for greater opportunity elsewhere.
