In Round 8, the NSW Cup team for the Raiders secured a significant victory over the Bears at GIO Stadium, while the Jersey Flegg side was defeated by the Storm at Raiders Belconnen.
The Bears initiated the scoring with a try from Matt Komolafe just two minutes into the match.
However, the Raiders responded quickly; within 12 minutes, Myles Martin spun his way over the tryline, marking his first try for the team.
