A rising star described as Canberra's next great hooker hope has landed a new deal on the eve of the NRL season, signing a massive contract extension before he has even played a first-grade game.
In a move that will have Raiders fans salivating, Owen Pattie has been upgraded and extended on a new contract that will see him stay at the club until at least the end of 2028.
Pattie has been in the Raiders' development squad, but has been banging down Ricky Stuart's door after being named the Jersey Flegg player of the year last season and impressing in the NSW Cup.
