Raiders coach Darrin Borthwick emphasizes positivity despite concerns ahead of challenging match against Knights.
Canberra Raiders women's coach Darrin Borthwick has swatted away concerns about team culture and slipping standards less than a week after delivering a scathing reality check to his players.
No less than seven times did Borthwick use the words "positive" or "positivity" when referencing the playing group's attitude to an inaugural Magic Round clash in Newcastle on Sunday against two-time NRLW premiership-winners, the Knights.
It's a "tough assignment" but Borthwick believes the Raiders have every chance to cause an almighty upset and quieten the critics that have grown louder going into round five.
