Raiders star Jamal Fogarty admits he’s ‘still dirty’ over shock Titans exit

Canberra's Jamal Fogarty seeks premiership redemption after being unexpectedly sacked by the Titans.

The Australian

In-form Canberra halfback Jamal Fogarty has opened up about his premiership motivation - his demise at the Titans where he discovered his shock sacking by listening to a radio bulletin.

Fogarty will be a key figure for the Raiders on Sunday with the minor premiership banking on his game management to outpoint Broncos No.7 rival Ben Hunt in a blockbuster qualifying final at Canberra's GIO Stadium.

Fogarty could be just three wins away from a maiden premiership ring and a Green Machine title triumph would be the ultimate vindication following his savage free fall at former club the Titans.

In just a matter of weeks in 2021, Fogarty went from captaining the Titans in a sudden-death semi-final against the Roosters to being shown the door as Gold Coast's chief playmaker in favour of rising star Toby Sexton.
