Queensland won the first ever three-game Women's State of Origin series thanks to a commanding 22-6 victory over NSW in Townsville, with victory sealed by the sister of a Green Machine star.

Maroons five-eighth Tarryn Aiken tormented the Sky Blues with her kicking game in the wet as Tazmin Rapana - sister to NRL fullback Jordan - scored the game-sealing try to clinch the decider.

Raiders duo Sophie Holyman and Tamara Zehara proudly represented the capital as Queensland celebrated in front of a sell-out crowd.
