Raiders suffer loss to the Sea Eagles in NRL Indigenous Round clash

The Toyota Forklift Raiders went down to the Manly Sea Eagles 42-14 in a hard-fought loss at GIO Stadium Canberra in the annual NRL Indigenous Round.

The hosts set the tone early, threatening the Sea Eagles goal line in just the second minute thanks to a dropped bomb by Tom Trbojevic.

The Raiders continued to pile on the pressure, with skipper Elliot Whitehead being first to cross over the line with a Jack Wighton short ball putting him through a hole in the Manly defence.

Jarrod Croker successfully converted the try to give the Green Machine a 6-0 lead in the sixth minute.
