Queensland coach Billy Slater has defended Broncos superstar Reece Walsh amid claims that abusive Raiders fans were making comments about his young daughter after he was sin-binned during Sunday afternoon's dramatic NRL qualifying final at GIO Stadium.
Walsh's response to the abuse is expected to be reviewed by the NRL on Monday morning after he appeared to flip the bird to Raiders fans as he made his way up the tunnel following an altercation with Canberra forward Hudson Young.
