Leeds Rhinos secured a 17-4 victory over St Helens in the closing match of day one of the Magic Weekend at St James' Park, Newcastle.

According to skysports.com, Leeds established dominance in the first half with an unconverted try from Riley Lumb and a converted try by Lachie Miller, leading 10-0 at halftime while Saints struggled to score.

In the second half, St Helens responded with an unconverted try by Matt Whitley.
