Payne Haas hobbled off with an ankle injury, raising concern for the Broncos' season.
The Broncos had their hearts in their mouth as Payne Haas hobbled on one leg after suffering an ankle injury in the closing stages of the first half of their qualifying final with the Raiders.
In the 38th minute with the Broncos trailing 18-12, Haas fell awkwardly after a tackle by Tom Starling and struggled to get to his feet before hopping away in agony in back play.
"Brisbane's season on knife's edge here." Michael Ennis said on Fox League
"Haas is down and hurt. Payne Haas is limping. He is in big trouble here. He is in serious trouble."
"It is getting worse the trainer is with him," Dan Ginnane added.
"That limp is not getting any better. But the trainer is gone, so Haas is going to try and walk this off. A lot of attention on the big man.
