The Belconnen United Sharks have defeated the Goulburn City Bulldogs in a 28-24 win, inspired by Matt Woolnough and Zac Patch in a gutsy performance.
A grubber and chase from Woolnough in the third minute of the game put the Sharks on the board first for the afternoon.
But the Bulldogs were quick to respond with a try to Tyler Cornish in the eighth minute, while the Shark's defense was in a scramble which levelled the scores 6-all.
