The Sharks face the Raiders in their final trial match, aiming to improve after last week's loss. Key players return.
The Cronulla Sharks will face reigning minor premiers the Canberra Raiders in Gosford on Saturday afternoon for their second trial match, their final tune-up before the NRL season gets underway.
Following last week's 40-6 loss to the Parramatta Eels, the Sharks have been boosted by the return All Stars representatives Nicho Hynes, Braydon Trindall, Jesse Ramien and Briton Nikora.
"We know we're coming up against a pretty tough pack in Canberra. Can't wait to see how we go and dust the cobwebs off," Sharks prop Addin Fonua-Blake said.
"The expectation for us is to start the year how we finished it last year. We made some big steps forward leading into the finals and gained a lot of momentum.
