Five-eighth Ethan Strange is out after falling ill overnight, with the Raiders confirming in a statement that Simi Sasagi would come into the starting side to take his place with Matty Nicholson joining the bench.
The Raiders do have Ethan Sanders as another option still on the extended bench but Ricky Stuart will likely opt for the safer, more experienced alternative in such a big game.
Speaking to 2GB's Continuous Call Team, Strange's father John - NRLW coach of the Roosters - said the young five-eighth had been "vomiting through the night".
"He's not too good at the moment," Strange said.
"She (my wife) rang me yesterday. She said the club doctor was called out to his house. He had a resting heart rate of like 120 or higher, which they were concerned about at that to start with. But they were still hopeful that he'd pull up all right this morning and be able to play."
"But then overnight he was up and high fever and my wife Adele was really concerned about his breathing through the middle of the night as well. They've had the club doctor out again and he's been sick all night. It's knocked him about and sort of flattened him and he's (been) up vomiting through the night as well."
