Tabuai-Fidow, affectionately known as "Hammer," had an impressive performance, scoring a hat-trick in the Dolphins' 62-24 victory over Canberra. However, he sustained an injury in the second half, leading to his departure from the field.
Following medical examinations, it was confirmed that he has a grade three tear of his medial collateral ligament (MCL).
