There are calls for Kevin Walters to win the Dally M coach of the year award over rookie revelation Andrew Webster in the wake of the Broncos' incredible season.
Walters was on the chopping block coming into 2023 after Brisbane's disastrous end to last season when they were fourth after 19 rounds but somehow missed the top eight.
But now they sit on equal points with the Panthers at the top of the ladder and are on the cusp of a drought-breaking premiership.
