Tonga's coach urges NRL for more equality in international rugby league ahead of Pacific Cup clash.
Tonga coach Kristian Woolf has challenged the NRL to bring more equality to the international game ahead of Sunday's blockbuster Pacific Cup clash with Samoa, which is on track to draw more than 45,000 spectators.
Woolf said the interest in the Suncorp Stadium clash was the "best example of what the two nations bring to the sport of rugby league" before pointing out that should lead to greater respect and resourcing for both nations.
"Things are more equal and we get a lot more respect than what we used to but we are still a long way behind the bigger nations and Australia in particular," Woolf said.
