Roosters coach Trent Robinson has defended skipper James Tedesco after the fullback's troubles under the high ball led to two Canberra tries in the
Raiders' 20-18 win on Sunday.

Tedesco was outjumped twice in after two first half bombs from Raiders halfback Jamal Fogarty, with Jack Wighton leaping over the Blues fullback to reign in the kick and score.

Just over 10 minutes later, in-form Raiders fullback Seb Kris jumped over Tedesco and batted a ball back to centre Matt Timoko, who scooped up the ball and ran in under the posts.
